India, Faults, Shortcomings & Urgent Needs

India is one of the upcoming superpowers of the world that is still shy of being called a "developed country". India is also one of the most unique nations in the world with its own set of challenges that, honestly speaking, no other nation has to face. It's also home & hence I will always hold a special place in my heart for this country. I have lived for almost 26 years now and from hating to loving it and all the experiencing everything in between, I have finally decided to collect my thoughts about what exactly does India need and why.

The inspiration of this article is mostly from my own mind, which gets confused everytime i see a news that criticizes India or see something not so good, outside my house with my own eyes. Despite all the modernism, progressivism, education, journalism and everything else we still fail to see a developed India. We still see things, that no sane person should see without feeling repulsed, ashamed and spurring to action to rectify it. And Since Iam an extremely categorical and methodical person, and unless something is drawn in an empirical way, neatly categorized into specific (non overlapping preferably) groups, it continues to conflict me. Hence, this article is written to put together my thoughts on what exactly is India's problem and how it can be solved.

The structure of the monograph will be like this: -

Defining Problem Points:- Explaining, why are those a problem:- Things that can be done to solve them:- Why are the current measures not working.

Lets begin by first identifying the problematic points that plague India till this day.

Major Points

1. Poverty :- It's a problem because it leads to starvation, lack of dignity & health deterioration.

2. Squalor :- It's a problem because it leads to bad aesthetics, bad reputation, toxic environment & unoptimum utilization of public life

3. Wealth Inequality :- It's a problem because it leads to non-optimal usage of surplus capital, sporadic shortages of basic needs for some

4. Overpopulation :- Inefficient usage of Public Resources, Longer waiting times & more than requisite pressure on Nature's bounty

5. Corruption :- Waste of Taxes, Sponsoring Illegal Activities, Lack of Accountability & Wrongful Encouragement to Luxury Businesses

6. Disunity :- Riots, Lack of Communal Harmony, Democratic Waste on Elections, Votebank Politics & Lack of Self Respective Narrative

7. Lack of Meaningful Employment :- Waste of Huma Potential, Unncessary Competition & Failures

8. Bad Condition of Public Infrastructure :- Bad Reputation amongst foreigners, Lack of Cheap & Trustworthy options for the Poor

9. Environmental Degradation :- Permanent unavailability of Food & Water, Health Problems due to Pollution & Opening Earth to Cosmic Turbulence

Minor Points

1. Freedom of Speech :- It's a problem because it prevents honest search into various problems, subjects, prevents critcism of corruption & creates resentment

2. Freedom of Creative Expression :- It dampens the artistic spirit of the nation and lowers our international reputation as well as foreign exchange

3. Blind Aping of the West :- Aping anyone blindly is harmful as it doesn't take into account the context and culture of your own nation & creates a dangerous precedent

4. Lack of Introspection :- Prevents thinking honestly into the real cause of various problems plaguing human kind and rather follow established approaches even if they don't work

Now, each point introduced above will be reinforced with a little more detailed explanation of the causes of each problem and then the solutions will be listed after that.

This topic is inspired by my constant discussions and feuds with my friends on choosing which politician is better for our nation. And the discussions aren't only limited to India, they sometimes go to the US Elections but the article will be limited to India as my personal views and intuitions work better for India than the States. I will divide this article into the following parts: -

0) What does the Economy need?

1) What Politicians Should Do?

2) What does India need right now?

3) Where does the contr444444444ibution of the Common folk come?
